Work Completed :
- Kevin advised they are missing the mounting plate for the sensor, unable to install sensor. Arty advised someone from their department was testing it last time and he will ask them. - Troubleshooted fisheye camera for SBPA Atrium, camera is not able to power on. - Verified cable is able to supply power. - Tested another camera, powers on. Verified cable has no issues. - Checked the camera specs, it needs POE+ rating for the switch. Current switch onsite only has POE and has a max of 30W, the camera needs 37W higher or POE+ switch. - Tested using a POE+ injector, camera is still unable to turn on. Tested camera using a short cable near the switch with the POE+ injector, same issues. - Possible fault in fisheye camera hardware itself. - Advised Arty that the switch does not provide enough power and is not rated for POE+. - Investigated ways to install the 3rd camera for the SBPA Copier Room. Will install a switch alongside the AC12 to facilitate both camera and the access control. - Advised Arty for service to continue on Monday to install the switch and camera for the 2nd Floor SBPA Copier room.
